Our Goal
Our goal and mission is to provide a fast, easy and effective way for marching members and sponsors to connect with each other so that members can afford to march during the summer.

Who Is Behind This Site?
Hi! My name is Eric Lozaga. I am the founder, developer, etc.. behind HelpMeMarch! I have several years of marching as a member of the Concord Blue Devils (1996-1999) and SoCal Dream (2006-2007). I was also fortunate enough to be on visual staff with Dream and have taught marching at several high schools in Hawaii and California. My age out year was in 2002, but decided to join the US Navy early into the 2000 season, where I spent 6 grueling years in Hawaii and San Diego. I am now a full time PHP/MySQL programmer and have developed websites for companies such as Ferrari, SanDisk, Denon and StubHub.
What is my favorite marching exercise? Circle drills at 200+ bpm!

I would like to thank everyone who has helped in one way or another since starting the site with their concepts, legal advice, advertising knowledge, photography skills, and everything that has been shared. Why HelpMeMarch?
The site concept came about during the 2009 season when a friend was looking for people on Facebook to donate money for their tour fees. I helped pair them up with several sponsors and quickly raised $200 for them. This got me thinking that there should be a website that does this process for them... one thing led to another, and HelpMeMarch.org was born.

 

We Will...

Connect People
Through our site our members and sponsors can connect with each other in order for the members to fundraise and afford their tour fees. We provide several methods of ways for sponsors to find members, and members to find sponsors.

Give Information
We provide an easy to use and accessible way for marching members to post non-confidential information about themselves so that donors can find out more about the person and hopefully want to help them. This includes pictures, videos, and other related information. We also give the information needed to the donor so they can make their donation(s) to the member of their choice.

If you have any feedback, suggestions, etc please let us know! We want to make this site easy for everyone to use. We appreciate any helpful feedback you may have.

 

We Won't...

Take Tour Donations
All content on this site is provided as a means of information. Donors do not make donations directly through our site, we will only provde the donor the information on how to do it themselves.

Track Donations
All donations through the site will be tracked as a Pledge to Donate. We will keep track of pledges, but it will be the members responsibility to keep track of their actual donations and current tour fees and the sponsor to follow through with their pledge. We provide a tracking system for both members and sponsors to utilize so they can keep track of their donation status.

Give You Money
Our services are simple, to help marching members connect with donors for donations towards their tour fees. All donors must donate directly to the drum corps of that member for the members tour fees. We will not tolerate members or donors who do not follow this simple rule. This site is not to be used as a free money handout to members for personal expenses.

Guarantee Results
By posting on our site, members will be guaranteed to be connected with donors. Whether or not members get any donations will be up to the member and donor individually. Each member must still take it upon themselves to "market and sell" themselves to potential donors by adding content, pictures and other means through which the site provides.
